苏州工业园区博爱学校、博爱康复诊所是一所社会力量办学的非营利特殊教育与康复医疗社会福利机构。二十年来博爱践行“爱无国界、人人参与”全民公益服务理念，为中、重度智力障碍、自闭症、脑瘫及多重障碍儿童少年提供学前、学龄段特殊教育与康复医疗服务，秉承“坚持全面康复，加强基础教育和生存教育”的办学宗旨，以世界卫生组织《国际功能、残疾和健康分类》（ICF）“生物—心理—社会”理念为指导的覆盖全生命周期的支持性服务。综合地、选择性地应用医疗、教育、心理、中西医结合、工程、社会实践等方法，促进特需儿童身心健康全面发展，平等参与社会生活，得到政府、国际友人和社会各界的支持和捐助。
Suzhou Industrial Park Boai School cum Suzhou Boai Rehabilitation Clinic is a non-profit social welfare institution for special education and rehabilitation therapy, which is run by non-government sectors. For over 20 years, Boai has been practicing the public service philosophy of “Love without Boundary and Everyone Involved”, providing pre-school and school-age special education as well as rehabilitation therapy for children and youngsters with moderate and severe mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy and multiple impairments, and adhering to the school-running purpose of “persisting in total rehabilitation and strengthening basic and survival education. Guided by the philosophy of “biology-psychology-society” under the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) of the World Health Organization, it offers supportive services that cover the full life cycle. Furthermore, it comprehensively and selectively adopts the approaches of medical treatment, education, psychology, combination of traditional Chinese medicine with western medicine, engineering and social practice, etc. to promote all-around development of the physical and psychological health of children with special needs, so that they can be involved equally in social life. Therefore, the school has acquired supports and donations from the government, international friends and all sectors of society.
